La Chapelle
La Chapelle is a beautiful historic chapel which has been modernised in 2022 to meet todays luxury standards. The renovation has preserved authentic features using only traditional building materials such as the natural stone floors (now with underfloor heating) throughout.
La Chapelle is situated in a private setting, in the middle of nature next to Manoir Al Chai and its natural vineyard. The house is surrounded by multiple terraces with dining tables, lots of grass and trees, and an uninterrupted view into the valley. With the historic city of Cahors at a 10-minute drive away, it combines the best of both worlds.

The chapel / drawing room
The large open drawing room (the original chapel) holds the historical baptismal font and is comfortably cool in summer and cosy warm in winter. There is ample space on the couch to relax on, underfloor heating, double glazed windows, and a cast iron woodstove. The additional round table is ideal for games, puzzles, and working from home.

Kitchen
The open space kitchen forms the centre of the house including an 8-person dining table.
It is equipped with all the modern equipment you need to prepare a wonderful meal. Larger amenities include an induction hob, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee and tea appliances, dishwasher, and washing machine.

Bedrooms
The large bedroom includes a super king size (180x200cm) double bed.
The smaller bedroom includes two single beds (90x200cm) that can also be used as one super king size (180x200cm) double bed.
All beds are new with state of the art mattresses and are freshly made upon your arrival. From both rooms you can enjoy the spectacular view into the valley.

Bathroom
The stylish natural stone bathroom includes a period double basin, walk-in shower with a view on the vineyard, and ample storage space. Fresh towels are provided. Next to it sits a separate loo.

Outdoor
The house has multiple terraces and dining areas, so you can always find the perfect spot in the sun/shade for your early morning tea, long lunches and suppers, and endless bottles of wine.
