ABOUT
Domaine d'Al Chai
Risen on probably Roman remains, and on the ruins of an 11th century wine estate is the 18th century manoir
'Al Chai' with associated chapel (La Chapelle, restored in 1786) and cottage (Le Petit Paradis).
In 2022 La Chapelle and Le Petit Paradis have been modernised to meet current
comfortable dreams while historic features remain. La Chapelle can host 4 people and Le Petit Paradis 2-4.
They can be booked separately or together.
The region
Domaine d'Al Chai is situated in a tranquil green valley in the South of France just outside the small village of Laroque des Arcs by the river Lot (commune Bellefont-La Rauze). It is only a 10-minute drive to Cahors, a beautiful medieval town with a spectacular 1000-year-old, twice weekly food market in the shade of the Cathedral, plenty of restaurants, its famous Pont Valentré, and many year round cultural activities and festivals.
The region is famous for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, horse riding, swimming, and kayaking.
